# Strategy - DPS

{% hint style="info" %}
If **Cyte** is host, at every **inter-round** don't forget to **close and reopen your map**. Otherwise you won't be able to see the enemies properly anymore.
{% endhint %}

{% step %}

### Key drop - New rounds

Once the round starts, you need to <mark style="color:violet;">kill as many mobs as possible as fast as possible</mark> until you get <mark style="color:violet;">all the keys to drop</mark>.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Placement

If your <mark style="color:violet;">Vauban/team</mark> hasn't placed all the keys yet, you need to <mark style="color:violet;">analyze the map</mark> to <mark style="color:violet;">dock the second-to-last one as fast as possible</mark>.\
\
If your team is well coordinated and they're handling the <mark style="color:violet;">second-to-last and last</mark> ones, use this time to <mark style="color:violet;">analyze the map</mark> and check whether the <mark style="color:violet;">Keys</mark> are placed or not. This is the moment when you're going to <mark style="color:violet;">hunt</mark>.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Demo Hunt

This is the moment to <mark style="color:violet;">hunt</mark>. For most <mark style="color:violet;">Demolysts</mark> that have been alive for several seconds, you can take care of them <mark style="color:violet;">through walls</mark> with <mark style="color:violet;">**Sobek**</mark> <mark style="color:violet;"></mark><mark style="color:violet;">at</mark> <mark style="color:violet;"></mark><mark style="color:violet;">**low level**</mark>, or <mark style="color:violet;">Torid</mark> — however:

To <mark style="color:violet;">maximize round time</mark>, you absolutely need to <mark style="color:violet;">know/predict the location of the last Demolyst</mark>. But be careful:

If in a <mark style="color:violet;">squad</mark>: you're not alone — a <mark style="color:violet;">support</mark> or your <mark style="color:violet;">second DPS</mark> can also help by taking a possible <mark style="color:violet;">spawn link</mark> for the Demolyst.

If in a <mark style="color:violet;">duo</mark>: it's important not to go <mark style="color:violet;">too deep</mark> into a link to predict, because if it's a <mark style="color:violet;">bad spawn</mark>, you'll waste a lot of time coming back. Positioning yourself in the link already lets you <mark style="color:violet;">kill it through walls</mark>.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Inter-Round

With all the <mark style="color:violet;">Demolysts eliminated</mark>, you need to get back <mark style="color:violet;">as quickly as possible</mark> to the <mark style="color:violet;">inter-round link</mark>. As <mark style="color:violet;">Cyte Shock/Thermal</mark>, you need to make sure your <mark style="color:violet;">whole team has properly received the necessary buffs</mark>. If that's not the case, your <mark style="color:violet;">supports</mark> will be significantly disadvantaged when trying to <mark style="color:violet;">kill Demolysts solo</mark>.&#x20;

{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
